Michael Iachini, CFA, CFP, leads the research effort on mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, separately managed accounts, and alternative investments. Michael's research team covers quantitative and qualitative evaluation of investment managers, as well as operational due diligence of money management firms. Michael also writes research articles for Schwab clients and represents Schwab's point of view on investment manager research, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investing in the media.

Prior to joining Schwab in 2004, Michael was a domestic equities analyst for the State Board of Administration of Florida. He holds an M.S. in Economics from Florida State University and a B.A. in International Affairs from Florida State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
